At many of the beaches scattered around the island, there are restaurants, tavernas, cafes, snack bars and ice cream or confection shops serving an array of gastronomical delights.

The cuisine includes 'fusion' (mixing continental and Greek flavors), traditional Greek, Italian, Thai/Chinese, sushi and everything in between. There are dining options catering to a range of tastes and budgets, though don't be surprised to find some restaurants with prices to match those of Paris, London or New York.

We provide brief information about food and beverage availability on many of our beaches. Only if a web-link is available have we included the name of the taverna or restaurant. Our main intention is to give you an idea if food and beverage IS available at the beach of your choice and the location of the outlets. We will leave it to you to enjoy the fun in discovering somewhere new to eat and drink whether it is a very small taverna, large beachside restaurant or a simple snack bar.
